He said good night to the moon
But the moon didn’t answer
It orbited different spheres
And shone on different continents
It gathered light from another source
And shared it with all
He wanted the moon for himself
Selfishly he coveted its light
He said good night to the moon
And the moon didn’t answer
He felt alone, abandoned, and forgotten
He raged, cursed, and wept
But In time he became used to the silence
And it was enough to know
The moon was there

I like your short serials. (https://chicwithmessybun.wordpress.com/) I have entertained the idea of doing something similar to that. I think I will follow your serial for a while to see how you manage it.
